My client who is based in Camberley, Surrey is looking for a Security Vetting Administrator to cover a 4 month period.

This role will include...

Reporting to the Finance Controller, this temporary role provides maternity cover within the existing Admin team. You will support company operations including management of the security function and general administration.

You will have excellent MS Office skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritise duties and be confident to take ownership of problems through to satisfactory completion.

You will work collaboratively and maintain an upbeat, positive attitude, undertaking all duties in a professional, courteous, and helpful manner.

Security

Management of security function:

*initiate and maintain the security clearance process for all staff members from BPSS through to SC (and DV as required).

*ensuring individual clearances for both staff and contractors are valid and maintained.

*co-ordination of site security, including correct handling and storage of protectively marked data.

*administration of security procedures so that they are compliant to the company Security Advisor's audit.

*liaise with the DBS (Defence Business Service) NVS (National Security Vetting) unit on an as required basis.

*attend regular security meetings with the CEO and IT Manager to brief on any changes to security legislation and discuss related issues.

*Attend any external security related briefings/meetings as required.

Admin Responsibilities

Duties include:

*general admin tasks as part of admin team, for example handling post, ordering stationery, booking travel, diary management.

*liaise with office landlords and other tenant representatives on issues relating to the premises.

*co-ordination for all Health and Safety related issues within the office environment
