My client is a prestigious Wealth Management/Private Banking organisation, who is seeking an IT Support contractor for initial 6 month contract. The ideal candidate MUST have worked within the financial services industry, ideally Wealth Management or Private Banking.
You will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all IT-systems, user applications, telephone infrastructure and external services provided to all users.
Skills;
*Experience in a financial environment handling applications support, dealing with user requirements and support, participating and managing small projects with a strong business focus.
*Worked in a Service delivery, Help Desk or Infrastructure environment of a financial institution for a minimum of five years.
*Experienced in handling PC and network support.
*Familiar with LAN / Wan topologies, to include cabling systems.
*Experienced in supporting infrastructure, email systems, MS Office, FIS systems.
*Familiar with Internet topologies, FTP, Encryption.
Client Management;
*Must insure the FCA Conduct Rules are fully understood and that the highest professional and personal standards in accordance with the FCA Conduct Rules are adhered to and followed.
*Provide first point of contact for the users and follow through to completion any problems reported.
*Co-ordinate with the business, 3rd parties to ensure full system testing and user acceptance testing is carried for all components and projects deliveries.
*Set up work stations and user profiles for new employees.
*You may be required to work in or support a different team at the same level across your division as required
