Urgent requirement for a contract C# web/applications developer (Swindon-based company)

I am currently working with a client who is looking for a C# applications developer for an upcoming project. The developer should have recent experience with MVC, and be comfortable working with ASP.NET, MVC, JavaScript/jQuery and Entity Framework. Back-end knowledge is desirable, as well as experience in using Agile methodology during development. The client is further looking for an individual who will be able to work with and further develop a desktop WPF & WinForms Application.

Location: Swindon

Day Rate: £300 - £325

Contract Length: 3 months+

Start Date: ASAP

Essential Skills

* ASP.NET

* MVC

* C#

* JavaScript/jQuery

* Entity Framework

Desirable Skills

* WPF and WinForms Application Programming

* Experience with Agile methodology

* Experience with Jira System for back-end development

Day to Day Duties

* Completion and improvement of the back office suite of websites, windows services and standalone applications; aiding in increasing the functionality of the project.

* Improving communication side of system

* Facilitate the use of Entity Framework, improving migrations during transition of websites from Web Forms to MVC.

* Support set up of Jira System for back-office development team.
