This will be an initial 6 month contract based in Cambridge and the day rate will be paying up to £500.
Overview -
As a Benefits Managers you will provide subject matter expertise on all of our client's UK benefits; drafting policies, ensuring governance, designing and managing current and future plans. You will also provide expertise on UK pension plans; both Defined Benefit (DB) and Defined Contribution (DC), including supporting the DB Pension Fund Trustee Board and DC governance committee.
Key Responsibilities -
- Review Benefit provision, including monitoring costs, financial impact, future funding requirements and competitiveness of package.
- Manage relationships with Benefit providers, and work in partnership to define and achieve service level agreements, and optimise benefits provision.
- Oversee annual renewal negotiations and selection/market reviews to ensure the maximum purchasing power and leverage relationships.
- Support the communication of various Benefit programmes.
- Review Benefit policies, ensuring adherence with regulatory, legal and best practice approaches.
Essential Criteria -
- Proven experience in UK Benefits planning, design, financing and administration
- Broad-based knowledge of Benefits policies, process and procedures
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to locally operationalise global strategy
- Strong analytical skills, confident working with financial data and detail focused
- Experience in management of 3rd party providers
