Location: London Duration: 12 Months The area: The Technical Services Team enables all of our advertising businesses with advertisers, partners, agencies, publishers and users. We do so by providing technical services, tools and operations throughout the lifecycle, from the technical aspects of sales to troubleshooting and optimisation.

The team & role: Professional Services - Technical Specialists - Shopping The Shopping Technical Specialist team provides deep and specialized technical implementation support to our largest e-commerce customers. Our team consists of sharp, analytical minds who enjoy solving complex strategic, operational and technical challenges. As a Technical Specialist, you bring a proven track record of analytical problem-solving, ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences alike. You help maintain the success of our largest customers by leveraging your expertise to help implement a very complex product ensuring high rates of product availability, preventing downtime and offering optimisation advice with Sales to maximise ROI. Shopping is a huge growth area and your work will directly influence the success of our clients. You have both the ability to interact with product & operations teams, as well as excellent client relationship-building and communication skills. In addition to supporting the largest clients, you will also be building robust processes, systems, tools and documentation to ensure such cutting-edge products can eventually be serviced by generalists. You are also someone who can identify opportunities for increased efficiencies and can work with a cross-functional team to continuously improve our products and operations. Ideally you're already familiar with online advertising and have experience working within the industry. Minimum Qualifications: BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field or equivalent practical experience. Experience working with and managing external partners/customers of all levels; ability to absorb complex technical concepts and communicate them to a non-technical audience effectively 3-5 years hands-on experience in Internet products and technologies; experience in XML,, JavaScript, SQL/MySQL; and strong ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets Hands-on experience with advanced system architecture and design, technical troubleshooting, security and privacy standards, and/or enterprise software is a plus Preferred Qualifications: 2 years of relevant work experience, including programming experience in Python, Java, C#/C++ Strong communication, consulting and project management skills with a proven track record in project delivery Experience or knowledge of Google Adwords, digital tracking, digital analytics and/or digital optimization solutions eg. Google Analytics, GTM or similar analytics solution. Responsibilities: Design and build innovative and scalable operations solutions. Ensure the prompt and proper resolution of any technical challenges. Advocate new product features and assist clients in the adoption of new products via upgrades and migrations to help them build long-term success. Provide documentation and technical guidance to ensure the technical success of clients' integrations. Perform implementation reviews, and analyze/optimize client product mix to ensure their success. Lead product launches (post-beta) in region including training for cross-functional teams where needed. Partner with Sales and client facing teams to scope and collect client requirements, provide guidance on best practices, and apply technology and product knowledge to address customer's business and technology needs
