Let us tell you a little bit about the role.... We have a number of roles available across our Intelligence Directorate, with each team providing exciting opportunities to use quantitative and qualitative data to improve care for people when they need it the most. Although you will be assigned to a particular team, there will also be the opportunity to work across different teams. Regional Analytic Consultancy (roles in both mental health and acute sectors) These teams work with inspectors to make evidence-based regulatory decisions. We analyse data to get the meaning behind the numbers, and explain our findings to decide what action to take. The roles require high levels of analytical curiosity and multidisciplinary working. Data Development Team (mental health) We analyse a range of national data sets to monitor the mental health, learning disability and substance misuse sectors. We monitor changes in quality by bringing together relevant information about a provider to inform decisions about when, where and what to inspect and provide evidence for reporting. Evidence and analytics (adult social care) We ensure that operational colleagues have relevant and high quality information and insight about adult social care services in an easily accessible format to enable evidence based decisions.  We undertake exploratory and responsive analyses and have responsibility for developing and maintaining service monitoring tools and products that provide evidence and insight.  The role requires high analytical skills and multidisciplinary working. Evidence and Analytics (Primary Care) We ensure that inspection colleagues have relevant and high quality information and insight about primary care services in an easily accessible format to enable evidence based decisions.  Primary Care includes GPs, dentists, out of hours and urgent care, prison healthcare and children's healthcare. We undertake exploratory and responsive analyses and have responsibility for developing and maintaining service monitoring tools and products that provide evidence and insight.
