Diesel Software Process Engineer

Responsibilities

* Act as Software process expert and provide in-house training for planning/development teams

* Act as Software process expert for Diesel powertrain usage of Siemens TeamCenter e.g. VSEM

* Act as ATF (Scrum Master) for Diesel Servers Team

* Develop scripts to support Diesel s/w process (perl, java, jscript, html, MATLAB, python, etc…)

* Support configuration manager for Diesel s/w (AccuRev)

* Support build manager for Diesel s/w (Jenkins)

* Support tools team

* Work with suppliers or in-house teams to ensure timely software integration, build and test.

* Ensure compliance with client policies

* Must be able to travel if required to France, Germany, Turkey & US.

Qualifications and Technical Skills

* Engineering Degree to BEng/BSc or higher, with significant electronics, software &/or IT content.

* Significant s/w process / solution architecture design / delivery experience.

* Significant experience with Siemens TeamCenter (Ford VSEM)

* Significant experience of hand-coding ('C', 'C++', perl, php, java J2EE, .NET, VB, etc…)

* Significant experience with Waterfall and Agile s/w development process and tools

* Significant experience of Software Configuration Management, Agile Planning and Continuous Integration tools and processes (ClearCase, AccuRev, GIT, SVN, Rally, Jenkins or similar)

* Significant experience with Windows &/or Linux server administration

* Fundamental understanding of system and software design.

* Office IT skills

* Good communication skills

* Must be capable of leading, directing and prioritising
