Role: Solution Architect (application/infrastructure integration)

Location: Knutsford

Duration: 3-6 Months

Our client are looking for an experienced Solution Architect to join the team in Knutsford who has experience in complex systems integration projects/programmes.

Responsibilities:

Real world architecture experience is essential with significant practical experience of defining enterprise wide technical solutions, documenting them and driving them to delivery

* Experience in complex systems integration projects/programmes is a pre-requisite

* Able to exhibit deep technical leadership throughout the project life cycle

* Experience in architecting end to end solutions including application/infrastructure integration

* Able to demonstrate previous evidence of drive, energy, commitment, and enthusiasm

* Highly articulate and persuasive communicator with excellent written and verbal communication:

* Presents concepts to high-level audiences or in pressure situations (i.e., to influence key individuals).

* Listens to questions, identifies the key issues, and responds to the stated and implied issues.

* Asks questions of audience before, during and after presentations to gauge their understanding.

* Creates communications to match the needs of a particular audience in an effort to influence or educate them.

* Uses graphics in order to make complex or abstract concepts simple to understand (e.g., uses anecdotes or analogies).

* Expert in architecting solutions across disparate technologies to achieve the complex business objectives of multiple business areas:

* Breadth and depth of financial services business and applications knowledge.

* Subject matter expert in one or more technologies/functions used by the bank such as banking packages, CRM and Customer solutions, sales & origination etc.

* Has a history at thriving in an unstructured, ambiguous environment; adept at varying own styles to influence the optimum outcome.

* Has experience interfacing with several stakeholders and influencing their conflicting objectives in to a pragmatic solution and deliverable release schedule.

* Has in-depth experience of governance & control techniques:

* Experienced in acting as the design authority for an area of technology or programme;

* Extensive experience in estimating budgets for large and complex programmes and projects;

* Can identify key players and potential actions for high-impact, sensitive situations or issues;

* Ensures governance, risk and control procedures are followed and that remediation actions are completed
