Contract IT Security Analystc.450p/d

Central London - International banking group

6 months+ (genuine long-term prospects)

As an established and well regarded PSL partner to this international banking group we have been asked to assist in the recruitment of a contract IT Security Analyst. Working in a core team of 4 security professionals you will help assess, improve and implement IT security across the banks' IT landscape. We have a strong contractor presence on site here and receive extremely good feedback from individuals on site. The Head of Dept. has said this will be an interesting role and will suit a motivated individual willing to adapt. There is scope to pick up new skills here and the manager has confirmed standard days with no culture of having to work excessive hours.

Key skills / Environment:

IT Security accreditations helpful: CISSP (or equivalent)

Qualys Vulnerability scanning

Qualys Policy Compliance scanning

Splunk usage helpful

FFIEC cyber security control maturity understanding helpful

IT security reviews.

IT threat/vulnerability assessment

IT security process improvement

Global banking environment (EMEA region coverage)

The role requires An IT Security Consultant to assist in activities from vulnerability management to security monitoring and security alert/incident response activities. Some hands-on activity on regular operational tasks is.

This role may suit an individual that has held the following roles: IT Security Analyst, IT Security Consultant, IT Security SME. (Ideally with CISSP - Certified Information Systems Security Professional status or similar)
