Real Staffing are currently working with a successful SME who are looking for a Medical Education, Events and Partnerships Lead to join their team on a 12 month maternity cover.

The main purpose of the role is for someone to come in and develop the team as well as build on partnerships with healthcare providers. Based within the Primary Care Business Unit you will be working with Diabetes and Respiratory therapy areas. The role will be a mix between being office and field based, main office based in Cambridgeshire.

Responsibilities:

* Manage a team of 4 experienced members of staff

* Maintain high levels of NHS and therapy area knowledge and customer insight to research, propose and implement effective medical education and event programmes to achieve the needs of the brand priorities

* Through working in partnership with the National Partnerships Lead, ensure the development of KOL advocacy complements the department's medical education and events programme for the brands

* Accountable for the project management of all agreed medical education and events across the GPBU portfolio and proactively prioritise the Medical Education Lead and Events Lead workloads to ensure high levels of delivery at all times

* Accountable for the development and delivery of all major internal events including the company meeting

* Build productive networks and relations with the appropriate National Associations, Charities and Organisations within the relevant areas, both HCP and patient groups, to support both short term and long term priorities

* Utilise knowledge of the current UK market to identify, map, engage and work with appropriate personnel and Key Opinion Leaders within these organisations

* Work as part of the brand team, responsible for development of strategy around National Associations, Charities and Organisations

* Accountable for the department budgets management within the agreed brand plans and liaising with internal stakeholders as appropriate for contractual and legal agreements as required

* Accountable for the leadership of the team including recruitment, performance management, salary/bonus review, regular individual and team reviews liaising as appropriate with the Marketing Manager

* Identify the appropriate agency support for projects when required and be able to demonstrate robust management tools, techniques and evaluation of the investment
