For one of my clients in Helsingborg, I am currently looking for several experienced C++ Developers (freelance/contract)

About the assignment:

Start: 1 September 2018

Length: 1 year

Location: Helsingborg (on-site)

Workload: 100%

Requirements:

* Very good knowledge and several years of experience in C/C++ and Pascal

* Experience in database programming (SQL)

* Experience from large legacy applications in complex system landscapes

* Experience from working agile

* Fluent in English, Swedish is a plus

Knowledge of the following would be a big plus:

* OpenVMS

* DCL script

* DecForms

* Oracle database

What you will be working on:

During this assignment you will work as a system developer with focus on C++ and Pascal. You will focus on design, development, unit and system test, as well as development of/improving frameworks.

You will support a team of about 20 people in modernising the development environment, working methods, application and platform. The team is currently working in the following environment: C/C++, Pascal, Oracle, OpenVMS operating system, Ultraedit and CLIon, Webservices, JSON, SOAP. The next steps are Linux OS and Oracle12/PostgreSQL. The team is also transitioning from waterfall to an agile way of working with scrum in three week sprints.
