Spring Technology's client, a public sector organisation, are currently looking to recruit a Data Analyst for an initial 4-6 week contract on a rate of c.£250-300/day (inside of IR35) based in Edinburgh.

Responsibilities:

* Interpret financial source data.

* Collate data for sense-checking.

* Improve data quality and consistency to enhance evidence based decision making.

* Create greater efficiency and effectiveness by removing duplication and redeploying resource where appropriate.

* Using corporate reporting tools to design and build reports.

Requirements:

* Experience working as a Data Analyst (ideally within a public sector organisation).

* Experience of corporate finance systems and understanding of complex supplier contracts.

* Significant experience of using excel to join data sets up.

* Excellent communication (written, verbal and presentational).

* Competent in using MS Office, Microsoft Excel, Word.
