Project manager - Payroll implementation

My client an academic organisation is looking for a Project professional to manage all stages of the new Payroll system implementation life cycle, whilst supporting the People and Culture (P&C) Business with the Payroll/HRIS changes associated with people, processes and systems.

* Excellent daily rate

* Initial six months with view of extending

Accountabilities

* Manage the project to completion and deliver to the agreed scope, schedule and budget

* Prepare weekly status reports, financial reports and escalate issues to Program Manager as required in a timely manner

* Ensure appropriate skilled and experienced project resources

* Manage the Vendor's Project Manager and other 3rd parties

* Work with a cross-functional project team to deliver required project activities

* Work with IT stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and transition to support and develop strong customer relationships as 'trusted advisor'

* Ensure appropriate change management activities and communication take place to support project activities

Skill set

* Good knowledge and understanding of Payroll systems, and HRIS environments and associated integrations

* Agile project management

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple diverse teams simultaneously

* Excellent ability to work efficiently, and collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

* Proficiency in Microsoft Project

Experience

* 10 year or above years of relevant work experience as Project Manager

* Experience in multiple implementations of Payroll systems
