Java Software Developer

Working in Leeds a Software Developer with solid Java experience is required, focusing on either J2EE or Spring development.

Essential Skills:

-Server Side Java

-Relational and NoSQL database preferably SQLServer, MySQL and ElasticSearch

-Full development lifecycle experience

-Agile Methodology

Desirable Skills:

-Full stack development experience; server-side Scala experience;

-Parquet file format, json, REST interfaces, Micro Services architecture

-Experience with Hadoop, spark and HDFS

-Experience with Agile, Continuous integration, and continuous deployment pipelines, including a DevOps methodology is desirable

-Sun Certified Programmer and/or Developer would be an advantage
