User Researcher required for an expanding Lab in the city of Edinburgh for a 12 month + programme working as part of a global transformation agenda. Previous experience as a UX Researcher with practical experience of multiple research methods is a must. For non financial services user researchers this would be a great first step into Banking.

Responsibilities:

* Champion user-centric design approach to support the development and implementation of truly colleague-centric digital solutions.

* Support the roadmap for the delivery of HR UX initiatives that enhance digital experience by working closely with the broader UX team.

* Designing and running usability studies on paper and digital prototypes and live sites and devices to improve digital services and products - may include usability testing, focus groups, card sorting exercises, ethnographic research, heuristic and expert reviews, and other research as identified

* Managing the development and collation of research assets required to conduct research to agreed timescales

* Analysing research outcomes and develop professional reports that promote objectivity and the voice of the Customer

Requirements:

* Good knowledge of designing and conducting research studies and ability to design and document findings and make recommendations to projects and senior stakeholders

* Experience of moderating usability tests, focus groups, card sorting exercises, ethnographic studies, and all of the associated documentation and process of conducting these research activities

* Understanding of quantitative research methods like surveys, remote testing, web analytics
