Python Developer in Test, Contract, Cambridge, 4 months, £380/£450 per day.

A Company is Cambridge is currently looking for a contract Python Developer in Test Engineer to come in and join their team for an initial 3 month basis, working to set up test automation frameworks in Python, to work on a piece of sophisticated robotics kit.

The work requires somebody with experience setting up tests in Python but also possesses the mindset of a developer with a particular interest with people who have worked with embedded systems and C and worked on State Machines.

The company is an exciting place to work with a highly interesting product, it is a safety critical environment so experience with medical device/automotive/defence standards would be particularly nice to have.

Skills:

An excellent understanding of Python and experience using it in a testing environment.

Any experience working in a safety critical environment and understanding the processes and standards in place would be nice to have.

Experience working with State Machines/Embedded environment with C, having used protocols such as Ethernet and/or TCP/IP would be advantageous

They are looking to bring somebody on ASAP, for a two stage interview process of a telephone call followed by a face to face.
