AWS DevOps Engineer - London - 6 months - £550-£650

We are working with a large financial organisation who are currently looking for an AWS DevOps Engineer to join the ongoing AWS project for an initial 6 months contract. As an AWS DevOps Engineer you will be working closely with the development teams assisting them with the operational requirements of implementing new and existing applications, optimising their delivery pipeline, maintaining and scaling the infrastructure.

Essential requirements:

* Strong background in Linux/Unix and system administration

* Automation/configuration management using either Ansible, Chef, Terraform or an equivalent

* AWS - AWS API, EC2, ECS, S3, Lambda, Route53, VPC, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, RDS

* Containerisation - Docker, Docker images and usage in CI/CD and cloud environments

* Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence)

* Configuring and using a CI/CD tool such as Jenkins

* Working understanding of code/script (Bash/Shell/Python)

* Git source control and GitHub experience

* Extensive experience in DevOps/Agile environments
