Senior DevOps Engineer - Ansible, Terraform

Award winning and FTSE listed software house is on the market for an experienced Senior devOps Engineer with the ability to mentor a growing DevOps team. They say technology is at the heart of everything they do, therefore we are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer who is techy savvy, innovative and is capable of delivering a proof of concept for an Azure and private cloud based DevOps environment. Core technologies required include Ansible, Terraform and Azure

You will be required to design, develop, administer and support software build systems for an enterprise scale software development and R&D division. As a competent member of the DevOps team, you will be responsible for automating build and software configuration management related tasks. You will also be responsible for building out the continuous integration platform across several software products. This includes providing technical leadership to define enterprise software delivery patterns using build and release tools.

Essential skills: Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, Git, WinRM, Powershell, Azure, Linux, Active Directory, SQL Server and Windows Automation

This assignment will require you to select the optimal testing platform to deliver a like-for-like environment in both Azure and Private Cloud. You must have previous experience with QA and implementation of orchestration using Ansible and be able to deliver log output to log aggregation/reporting tools (ELK/Splunk)
