UX Architect - UI CSS Javascript HTML Visual Design Agile - Investment Bank

Within this department the UX team is responsible for the design and development of the User Experience for the Client and Sales Facing applications. As part of a small and passionate UX team you would be helping design for highly skilled, extremely specialized users working in the world's most demanding Real Time environments. We work agile within a UX-driven development environment pushing the limits of current technologies.

We are looking for an experienced UX Architect to co-drive design strategy and information architecture across E-commerce, user research and ethnography - ideally both qualitative and quantitative methods

- translating business priorities into research questions and design insights

- formulating information architecture and navigation for complex data structures

- articulating future-proof design strategy for multi-audience, multi-channel, multi-app solutions

- documenting UI pattern libraries and Visual Style Guides and setting up effective enforcement channels

- communicating and coordinating with senior stakeholders to evangelise and advance the UX agenda.

Key Responsibilities

                                       •                           Work with the banks analysts, users and product owners to create and evolve UX patterns, workflow and information architecture across the Fixed Income eCommerce platforms.

                                       •                           Ensure alignment of these principles so we achieve consistency across all of the Bank's products and services.

                                       •                           Make complex information understandable and formulate design concepts that are engaging, attractive, and user-friendly.

                                       •                           Work in a cross-disciplinary environment and interact with other UX architects, product owners, business analysts and developers throughout the company.

                                       •                           Improve the UX/Development interaction with comprehensive wireframes, transition documentation and references to the existing and evolving style guide to promote reuse and consistency.

                                       •                           Improve the quality of the user experience through design, information presentation and flow.

Desirable Requirements

                                       •                           Visual Design skills

                                       •                           UI Development skills (CSS, Javascript, HTML5)

                                       •                           Experience working with enterprise scale applications.

                                       •                           An ability to work in an agile development environment
