I am working with an NHS client based in the South to bring in an interim band 8b - Commissioning Manager - Urgent Care. The successful candidate will be responsible for key areas of the CCG wide urgent care programme including operational responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

* Key resource understanding the evidence which underpins best practice in urgent care;

* Working with clinical leads and managers within the CCG to develop local schemes that reduce hospital based emergency care and deliver quality and efficiency gains;

* Planning urgent care pathways which encourage innovation for future strategy;

* Develop effective relationships with providers, LAs, GP practices and others that support urgent care services;

* Working withing the SRG;

* Represent at regional urgent and emergency care network.

Contract length - 3 months

Daily Rate - 8b (competitive)
