Urgent Care Programme Manager - NHS - CCG

Real Staffing are currently recruiting an Interim Senior Commissioning Manager for Urgent Care services. The role is based in an NHS organisation in South East England.

The post holder well be responsible for managing a portfolio of urgent care services such as GP Out of Hours services, 111 and urgent care centres.

Other responsibilities will include:

* Providing specific advice with regard to the successful implementation of the NHS England plan for urgent care

* Responsibility for the delivery of specific workstreams within the re-tendering of a suite of services within the urgent care pathway

* Requirement from time to time to oversee other the planned service transformation projects relating to urgent care portfolio.

* The post holder will be responsible for developing service specifications, KPIs and negotiating service contracts.

Successful applicants will have extensive knowledge of commissioning and contracting within the NHS as well as knowledge of the delivery of urgent care and the services this covers.
