Position: Closure Accountant

Location: South East London

Day rate: Negotiable

Organisation: Local Authority

Start date: ASAP

Contract length: 6 months

I have an urgent requirement at a Local Authority who are looking for a Closure Accountant.

I am looking for someone who has covered a majority of the following,

* In-year accounting for Collection Fund

* Key technical accounting areas e.g. IAS 19

* Closedown and SOA disclosures

* Audit (internal and external)

* Revenue grants register

* Monitor I&E and Balance Sheet

* Management of corporate Balance Sheet

* Produce Balance Sheet Management statistics

* Assist in production of core financial statements

* Training to improve financial literacy of org

* Lead accounting for provisions and reserves

* Statutory and statistical returns e.g. RA, QRO, WGA etc.

Ideally looking for someone with recent local authority experience and has completed a set of year-end accounts.
