We have an urgent requirement for a Systems Engineer to assist with the delivery of 3rd line services in systems.

you will be responsible for:

* Ensuring specialist or complex IT information is processed in accordance with Trust and external policies and procedures.

* Investigating IT issues (incidents) raised to the Help Desk by end users in the area of the post holder's speciality (Systems/Telecoms/Technology Support Team), visiting them where appropriate.

* Installing all systems software, upgrades or new releases, all utility software, and all temporary programme fixes.

* Maintaining the production environment for critical applications - working to reduce the risk of disruption to the production environment.

* Maintaining and using all appropriate technical manuals and documentation and follow Change Control procedures.

* Ensuring that 3rd party suppliers are called in to help with the resolution of any incidents where required.

Essential Skills include:

* Excellent working knowledge of at least one of AD, Windows, Server, Networks

* Good understanding of TCP/IP and general networking infrastructure.

* Knowledge of specific versions of software e.g.:

?Server 2012

?Exchange 2013

?Portwise

?Powershell scripting (an advantage)

?SCCM 2012

?Lync

?VSphere
