My client, a leading Investment bank, have an urgent requirement for a UNIX System Administrator.
This position is based in London and is paying up to £500 per day.
Location: London
Rate: £500
Duration: 6 months rolling contract
Skills required
Configuring and delivering Linux and some Solaris based server environments and services
Experience of working in a major enterprise environment
Proficiency in both Linux server admins skills (RHEL/SLES) and Solaris (including LDOM/Zones) is a must.
Experience with IBM (x86), Sun/Oracle Sparc & x86 and HP (x86) hardware with NAS storage and EMC SAN solutions.
Desirable but not essential:
Exposure to VMware technologies
Previous experience in an Agile environment
