Senior Urgent Care Lead/Commissioner

Location - West Midlands

Start - ASAP

I have an urgent requirement for a Senior Urgent Care Lead. Please see below for a further information.

You will be experienced in or have experience in the following:

1) Director / Assistant Director Level experience in a commissioner or provider role

2) Specific, up to date and relevant experience of Urgent Care (ie last winter or the winter before),

3) Urgent care experience that is in a senior service redesign or provider operational role - Assistant Director Ops in Medicine/A&E/Strategy

4) Credible in senior company and able to engage senior stakeholders

5) Prepared to roll their sleeves up and deliver change on the ground - not just about coordinating others to do things. For example will write plans, will write and present update reports to CCG boards etc

Role will be required to:

1) Lead the urgent care PMO - covering urgent care transformation and system resilience

2) Co-ordinate / lead the response to the Urgent Care recovery plan

3) Senior support to SRG

4) Reporting to CCG (x3) Governing Bodies, Health and Well Being Board

5) Reporting to NHSE

6) Budget management for discharge to assess pathways

Will report to:

1) Day to day - Executive Nurse of CCG

2) Strategically - Chair
