The primary duties include:

* Supporting system wide working to ensure that provider organisations are held to account for the effective delivery of Urgent and Proactive Care services.

* Developing and delivering a rolling 2 year operational plan ensuring improvement in key services aligned to the CCG strategic direction.

* Working in partnership with clinicians and the wider system to ensure day to day delivery of key performance measures including those set out in the NHS Constitution.

* Ensuring that all services within the portfolio deliver safe, quality healthcare.

* Managing a budget of £205m p.a. and ensuring delivery within financial limits.

* Providing effective day to day leadership to the Urgent and Proactive Care Team, line managing staff, their workflow and development.

* Working as an effective member of the senior operations team.
