Badenoch & Clark are currently recruiting for an exciting new role for a Field Engineer for a very well established organisation based in Essex. This is a 3 month temporary contract with possible extension.

It is an essential requirement that the successful candidate has a clean UK driving licence and use of own car. Applicants without either of these will not be considered.

Job Purpose:

- Provide second line support to all end users for desktops, laptops, thin clients, servers and printer devices

- Accurately record the information into the helpdesk database.

- Purchase new equipment and record in asset database

- Perform installations, desk moves and upgrades when required

- Work within a professional team and provide support for first and third line staff

In order to be considered for this role you must possess the following experience:

- Experience in a similar role

- Good knowledge of Windows operating systems

- Good understanding of Windows networked environment

- Knowledge of hardware and ability to carry out repairs

- Administration of Microsoft Exchange and Active Directory

- Be a good communicator with the ability to present initiatives
