My client, a financial services provider is in urgent need for a Storage Engineer/Specialist to join their organisation on an interim basis.

3 - 6 Months

Location - Central London

Rate - £280

The candidate must have a good understanding of NetApp or EMC VMAX.

Certifications

NetApp Certified Data Administrator (NCDA)

NetApp Certified Implementation Engineer (NCIE) - (Backup and Recovery/SAN DATA ONTAP 7-Mode)

Information Storage and Management (EMCISA)

Storage Administrator (EMCSA) VNX Solutions Specialist

Storage Administrator (EMCSA) Specialist - Symmetrix Solutions

Technical skills:

Utilise a range of storage solutions including NetApp MetroCluster, EMC VPlex Metro, EMC VMax, EMC VNX and Cisco MDS

EMC storage - VNX/VMAX/VPLEX/DataDomain

NetApp filers (metro cluster, block and file)

Cisco Fibre channel Switches

Monitoring of systems to ensure high quality overall performance

Basic Understanding of Networks, unix and windows

Knowledge of IBM Tivoli Storage Manager
