SQL Server DBA urgently required for my Leicester based client for an initial 3-6 month contract. Our client is Global Consultancy, working with both Government and Private Sector clients.

Essential Skills Required:-

- SQL Server 2008 R2+

- Production DBA experience

- Backup and recovery

- Disaster Recovery

- Performance monitoring

- Query Optimisation (indexes, index management, index storage)

- Troubleshooting

- Configuration and maintenance of SQL Server database environments

Desirable:

- SQL Server 2012

- Development DBA experience

Duration - 3 months initially

Start - ASAP

Location - Leicester (easily commutable from Birmingham, Nottingham, Derby, Northampton, Coventry, etc)

Interviews being conducted ASAP.
