Development Manager - 12months - London - URGENT!!

My client is a leading investment bank seeking a development manager who is delivery focused. The successful development manager will oversee and manage the in-house analysis, development and test teams to implement 3rd party workflow solutions. This is a hands off development role but the successful candidate will be able to manage the development process and must have strong relationship management experience with technical teams especially but also, with a business change function team in order to successfully manage expectations and communication across a wide range of interested parties and stakeholders.

It is essential that this development manager has experience with;

- Proven development management experience

- Agile project management methodology (iterative development, burn charts, retrospectives etc)

- Workflow tools - particularly IBM FileNet (preferably version 5.2)

- Previous hands-on experience (HTML5, Java Oracle)

- Financial services experience (front office)

It would be beneficial if this development manager candidate had experience with;

- Management of web and database application technologies including Java, Adobe Flex, Sybase, Oracle, Websphere

- Usability design
