My client has an exciting opportunity for a Cisco Network Engineer to join their newly expanding team for a minimum 3 month contract working within the NHS.

Role Specifications:

A solid Network Engineer with the hands-on experience of Cisco network devices, good understanding of IPsec VPN technologies and network design experience. The ideal candidate must have

* CCNA /CCNP or equal ant experience

* NHS experience essential

* Solid Network Design experience

* Experience of working on Cisco Routers

* Experience of working on Cisco Core switches

* Experience of working Cisco ASA and PIX firewalls

* Experience of WAN protocols EIGRP, RIP, Static Routes, BGP

* Experience of working on IPsec VPN technologies

* Experience of IP migrations in windows environment

* Experience of SNMP based network monitoring.

* Experience of network documentation

* Experience of customer facing and working with tight deadlines

* Knowledge of VMware environment

* Knowledge of Microsoft AD environment
